How to Edit the Step Names and Paths in Your Funnel Builder: A Step-by-Step Guide #
Important Note:
- You’ll only see one opt-in page and one thank you page at a time, even though the software might show both as possibilities. Choose the one you’re actually using in your funnel.
Steps:
- Access Publishing Settings: Navigate to the “Publishing” section within your funnel builder interface.
- Edit Step Names and Paths:
- Click on the specific step (e.g., Opt-in page, Thank You page) you want to modify.
- In the “Publishing” settings, update both the “Name” (displayed internally) and the “Path” (part of the URL) for that step.
- Example: Rename “Opt-in page” to “Double Your List Sign Up” and update the path to “double-your-list-signup”.
- Maintain Consistency: Avoid using generic names like “Thank You” for multiple funnels. Create unique names to distinguish them easily.
- Optional: Edit Hidden Opt-in Page: While you might not be actively using an opt-in page, you can still edit its name for better organization within the builder.
